Russky Island hosted talks between the President of Russia and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un.
The talks started with a one-on-one conversation between the two leaders, with members of national delegations joining the consultations later on.
The leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has arrived in Vladivostok at the invitation of the President of Russia. This is the first meeting between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, as well as the first foreign visit by the Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea since his re-election to this post.
After the consultations, an official reception was held on behalf of the President of Russia in honor of Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un.
